I emptied the cream at the coffeeshop but I didn’t say anything to the baristas because I didn’t want to be the person who says excuse me the cream is empty. Even if you say it nice, it sounds not nice. Instead I went to class sipping semi-bitter coffee and wishing I would have said something. Hello overthinking how are you.

I am fine thank you. 

In class we did this thing where we write down a personal problem on a piece of paper, and we get into groups, and we exchange problems, and then go around and read the problems and offer solutions. I joined a group. We went around and 3 of the 4 were athletic injuries like bum knees or bum ankles and this one kid says MOVEMENT for his solution. I was like what? And he was like movement, you move the injured area. Which is contrary to Rest and Ice and all that. Then he showed me the YouTube video for Dr. Tommy John and I was like woah makes sense, move the injury, increase blood flow—https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mWKfYKhJxw

The students know. The answer for the final exam is that we know, in our bones. It’s all a matter of remembering what we’ve forgotten. 


Two of the three wedding picture CD’s were copied onto my external hard drive. The third was scratched and unreadable. Maybe some day we’ll look at those photos of our past selves in dress and suit and shivering with excitement. 

I discovered the two small common warts on my fingers can be healed by soaking a cotton swab with apple cider vinegar and then taping the swab onto the wart and leaving overnight. Repeat for a week. I also discovered that common warts are caused by one of 100 HPV viruses. 

I made the beet balls again. Admired my red urine this morning. 

Time Restricted Eating is getting easier, almost easy. The hunger is mutating into a feeling of lightness. Not empty, but light. 

For dinner we’re having spring rolls carrots, avocado, kale and sautéed beet greens. Apparently, the greens are more nutrient dense than the beet itself. Also fermented black eyed pea patties. This is Day 4 on fermentation. 

Tomorrow it is supposed to rain and be 20 degrees cooler. I’m looking forward. 

But also enjoying sitting here with my ankle crossed over my knee.
